Line pipes

Steel line pipes are often used in petroleum and other liquids’ transport and distribution systems as well as in its storage systems.

Salzgitter Mannesmann Stahlhandel Sp. z o.o. offers two types of line pipes produced acc. to EN 10255 and EN 10224.

EN 10255 Non-alloy tubes suitable for welding and threading

Tubes produced acc. to EN 10255 are available both as seamless and welded. The material is suitable for welding and threading and is often insulation coated. These tubes are mainly used for installations of power supply for heating and cooling systems in buildings from external containers and in fire protections systems.

Scope of production: 1/4” up to 6” (for seamless and welded tubes) and 1/4” up to 2” (for welded tubes, length up to 8m).

Commonly used grades: S195 T.

EN 10224 Non-alloy tubes and fittings for conveyance of aqueous liquids, including water.

Tubes produced acc. to EN 10224 are avilable both as seamless and welded. This material is mainly suitable for the conveyance, disposal and storage of water, including drinking water.

Scope of production: from 88,9mm up to 508mm (for seamless tubes) and from 88,9mm up to 2020mm (for welded tubes).

Commonly used grades: L235, L275, L355.
