Precision tubes are mainly used in the automotive, hydraulic, mechanical and electro-technical industry.

EN 10305-1 Seamless tubes for precision applications – cold drawn

Seamless precision tubes produced in the process of cold drawing can be delivered with additional heat treatment or without it.

Commonly used grades: E215, E235, E355 and other (see table below)

Scope of produced diameters: from 1,5mm up to 400mm (0,06 – 15,7”).

Delivery conditions:

  • +C (BK) Cold drawn / hard (without thermal treatment after last continuity).
  • +LC (BKW) Cold drawn / soft (drawn after last heat treatment with small reduction).
  • +SR (BKS) Cold drawn and stress relief annealed (tubes annealed under controlled atmosphere after last continuity in order to decrease residual stress).
  • +A Annealed (tubes annealed under controlled atmosphere after last continuity).
  • +N Normalizing annealing (tubes normalized under controlled protective atmosphere after last continuity).

EN 10305-1, DIN 2391 Steel tubes for precision applications. Technical delivery conditions.

Part 1: Cold drawn seamless tubes.

EN 10305-2 Welded tubes for precision applications – cold drawn

Cold drawn welded tubes for precision applications are characterized by high performance accuracy and good surface quality.

Commonly used grades: E155, E235, E355 i inne (tabela poniżej).

Scope of produced diameters: from 20mm up to 120mm (0,78 – 4,724”).

Delivery conditions:

  • +C (BK) Cold drawn / hard (without thermal treatment after last continuity).

  • +LC (BKW) Cold drawn / soft (drawn after last heat treatment with small reduction).

  • +SR (BKS) Cold drawn and stress relieved annealed (tubes annealed under controlled atmosphere after last continuity in order to decrease residual stress).

  • +A Annealed (tubes annealed under controlled atmosphere after last continuity).

  • +N Normalizing annealing (tubes normalized under controlled protective atmosphere after last continuity).

Part 2: Cold drawn welded tubes.

EN 10305-3 Welded size-rolled tubes for precision applications

Welded and sized precision tubes are used environments requiring good formability, resistance and weldability.

Commonly used grades: E155, E190, E235, E355 and other (see table below).

Scope of produced diameters: from 25mm up to 114,3mm (0,985 – 4,5”).

Delivery condition:

  • +CR1 welded and sized (normally without heat treatment, suitable for final annealing)
  • +CR2 welded and sized (heat treatment after welding and sizing not assumed)
  • +A annealed (after welding and sizing tubes are annealed under controlled protective atmosphere)
  • +N normalizing annealing (after welding and sizing tubes normalized under controlled protective atmosphere).

Part 3: Welded and sized tubes.

EN 10305-4 Seamless tubes for precision applications – cold drawn, suitable for hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders

Seamless HPL tubes produced in accordance with EN 10305-4 can be characterized by highly accurate performance and are suitable for pipelines found in hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Commonly used grades: E215, E235, E355 and other (see table below).

Scope of produced diameters: from 4mm up to 80mm (0,985 – 4,5”).

Delivery condition:

  • +N normalizing annealing (tubes normalized annealed under controlled protective atmosphere after last continuity).

EN 10305-4, DIN 2445 Steel tubes for precision applications. Technical delivery conditions.

Part 4: Seamless tubes cold drawn, suitable for hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders.
